Oktoberfest Brasov 2012

6-9 september 2012, Sports Arena "Ion Tiriac"

The first edition of Oktoberfest Brasov was organized in 2009 at the foot of Tampa mount by the local Saxon community represented by the German Economic Club. The success of the small Oktoberfest Brasov exceeded all expectations.

An adopted German tradition after the authentic Bavarian model, rivers of beer, German music and bands, Bavarian cuisine, a huge tent, games with prizes, renowned sponsors, festival opening by "piercing" the beer barrels by Romanian and German authorities is Brasov Oktoberfest's recipe for success. The Bavarian lion crowned in Brasov became the emblem of the local Oktoberfest who turns 4 years while his older brother, the Bavarian Oktoberfest, will turn 202 years in 2012.
